Cultural activitis in the City Domažlice

This written work deals with cultural activities of the inhabitants of the town Domažlice between the years 1880 - 1899. The used information is taken from the "Posel od Čerchova" newspaper. The aim of the work is to show particular cultural events as they were presented in the newspaper. The work is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is focused on the concept of culture. It explains the importance of the word culture and events that happened in the 19th century, especially in the second half of the 19th century. The middle part introduces us into the history of Domažlice in the 19th century. We want to create at least a minimal concept of the city development and of the form of the city. We describe the political and economic level of the city in the defined years. We include institutions which were there.The last part shows the cultural activities of the inhabitants the way they were presented in the local newspapers. We answer the question how people lived in a small town and what cultural life they had. We got some answers. The most common activity was the formation of clubs that allowed people to take part in some private or public social events like concerts, trips, lectures, debates etc. The membership brought certain benefits and a certain self-fulfilment. Primary school of art of Jindřich Jindřich in Domažlice (history and present)

This thesis is dedicated to the primary art school of Jindřich Jindřich in Domažlice. It is divided to five chapters. Firstly, it speaks about the town of Domažlice, especially its history and progress. Secondly, there will be described musical life in Domažlice and its surrounding. Third chapter is focused on the life of the local ethnographer Jindřich Jindřich and his asset to the region of Chodsko. In the next chapter the history of monastic church and other monastic buildings, where the musical school is situated today is portrayed. Follows the description of the musical school in general as well as its particular fields of study.

Grant and Subsidy Programs in Selected City (Sušice)

The content of this thesis is introduction of grant and subsidy programs in Sušice and comparison these programs with subsidy programs in other cities. The main objective of this thesis is to analyse volume and structure allocated grants and subsidies in Sušice in the years 2007-2016. The first chapter is theoretical and deals with subsidies, grants and way of financing sport and culture in the Czech Republic. The second part is devoted to the Grant program of the town Sušice in support of culture, sport, leisure and education. In the third chapter the thesis is devoted subsidy programs to support regular activities of children and youth in sports and cultural organizations. The last chapter deals with the comparison of subsidies programs in Sušice, Domažlice and Prachatice. A basic statistical analysis from the collection of secondary data was used to conclude the results.

Spatial planning legislation in the Czech Republic

The aim of my graduation theses is the analysis of spatial planning legislation in the Czech Republic between 1945 and present. In the theoretical part I have explained basic terms and the legal regulation of spatial planning and I have presented individual concepts of spatial planning legislation since 1945. Besides the comparison of the basic concepts of spatial planning, the practical part mainly deals with the analysis of the relation of spatial and strategic plans. I have defined the main differences between these documents and compared whether it is advantageous for the municipality to start with a spatial plan or a strategic plan. Furthermore, I have focused on the creation and the content of the spatial plan of Domažlice, focusing on the compliance of legislation in the area of spatial planning, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of current legislation and the weaknesses of the spatial plan in Domažlice. Finally, I have indicated my own suggestions on how to improve the situation.

The theoretical part reviews scientific literature focused on strategic planning and the characteristics of the strategic plan. Practical part contains analysis of Strategic Development Plan of the town Domažlice.

Analysis and comparison of web pages selected Czech cities

The aim of this thesis is create methodology for evaluation of Czech cities web pages. The thesis includes aplication of this methodology into Web pages of Domazlice, Tachov and Rokycany. For this purpose I formulated criteria for evaluation of Web pages. In term of these criteria is accentuated informative value, usability, accessability and design of Web pages. Informative value was defined to reply for assessed pages sphere. In next part of this thesis I performed cricital analysis of Web pages of selected cities. On the basis of these results are formulated main drawbacks of Web pages and suggested solution.
